Respond to the Census before August 11th

On August 11, Census takers will begin knocking on the doors of Fair Lawn residents who have not yet answered the census. While we ask that you open your door to the Census takers, it would be preferable if you can answer to the Census prior to August 11.

You can respond to the Census online at my2020census.gov, by phone at 844-330-2020 or by returning the census form you received in the mail. Online the census is available in multiple languages including Spanish, Hebrew Russian and Korean. If you have any questions please call the Mayor’s office at 201-794-5344.

Our full and fair representation and funding depend on a complete count of our community. If you’ve already responded to the census, please reach out to your neighbors, friends and family and remind them to do so as well. This is particularly important for your neighbors who may need to respond in languages other than English.

The Census Bureau is providing video guides narrated in 59 non-English languages (including American Sign Language) to help people respond online and print guides written in the 59 non-English languages to help people complete the English paper questionnaire.
