In Line Skating:
The Fair Lawn
Recreation Department installed an inline skating rink at Memorial Park.
This will be an unsupervised facility and open to all Fair Lawn residents
to in line skate and play roller hockey.

All Pro
Tennis- Under the supervision of Barry Ruback, world ranked tennis
professional and accredited member of the United States Professional
Tennis Association and his professional staff!
Summer
Basketball Camp:
The Fair Lawn
Recreation Department / All Sports announces it's annual summer basketball
camp for children entering the 4th through 9th grades. the program runs
from 8:30 AM to Noon in Mid August and will take place at the Fair Lawn
High School gym and the Memorial Jr. High School gym. First 120
registrants only.
Summer
Instructional Pee-Wee Basketball Camp:
The Fair Lawn
Recreation Department /All Sports Summer Instructional Pee Wee Basketball
Camp for children entering 2nd and 3rd grades. This program runs from 1 PM
to 3:15 PM and will take place in mid-August at the Memorial Jr. High
School gym.
Men's
Night Softball League:
This
slow pitch softball league is open to all Fair Lawn residents and runs
from April through August on weekday evenings with games at 6:30 PM behind
the Fair Lawn High School.
Street
Hockey:
This program
with the assistance of the "Parent's Street Hockey Association"
will register in the Fall at the Recreation Center (20th & Kipp).
Registration fee is $50.00. All players must supply their own equipment.
Table
Tennis Club:
The Fair Lawn
Recreation Department's Table Tennis Club meets every Sunday evening from
5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Fair Lawn Recreation Center (20th & Kipp).
This group looks forward to having new members join. Please bring your own
paddle.
Morning
Aerobics Class:
Aeroslim
(low impact / calisthenics class) is a combination of light cardiovascular
and toning workouts for your body parts, such as; abdomen, hips, thighs,
buttocks and much more. Registration fee is $35.00.
Men's
Open Gym Basketball:
This program is
open to all men aged 18 and over. No pre-registration is required. This
activity is open gym with pick up type play and limited waiting. Mondays
9:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Fair Lawn Recreation Center gym. Proof of
residency will be required for all first time players. Free of charge to
residents.
Women's
Competitive Volleyball:
This program is
open to all Fair Lawn women ages 18 and up. Tryouts for this competitive
traveling team will be held. Proof of residency required.
Women's
Open Gym Basketball:
This popular
program is open to all Fair Lawn women who are age 18 & over. Games
are pick-up type and played on Wednesdays from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Proof
of residency is required.
Adult
Open Gym Volleyball:
Beginner and
moderate skilled play for Fair Lawn residents aged 18 and over. pick up
games on Thursday nights from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Proof of residency
required.
Saturday
Basketball:
Adult
open gym hoops for any adult residents aged 18 and over. Pick up games
played Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Proof of residency required.
Boys
and Girls Bowling League:
This after
school program is open to all Fair Lawn students grades 4th - 8th.
Interested players are encouraged to sign up as a team with a minimum of 4
players and a maximum of 5. Individuals not signing up with a team will be
placed on a team or formed into teams by the coordinator. Games are played
every Friday 3:30 PM at the Fair Lawn Brunswick Lanes. This program runs
October to March.
Women's
Softball League:
This slow pitch softball league is open to all Fair Lawn residents and
runs from April through June on weekday evenings with games on Schmidt
Field located behind Memorial Middle School. Team fee is established and
teams play a regular season scheduled and games played. An All-Star game
and picnic are included as well. Individual players will be placed on
already established teams.
Twirling
& Color Guards:
The instruction
twirling program is open to all Fair Lawn children grades K-8. This program includes instruction in all levels and ability and
will feature a performance for Parents night. A new Color Guard
instructional program will teach the use of various pieces of equipment
including flag, sabers and rifles.
