New Jerseyian Glen Burtnik starred as "Paul" in the west coast version of
Beatlemania. He is the former guitarist of Styx and for years organized and
played in the famous annual Bottom Line Xmas Show in NYC, which featured
friends such as Patti Smith, David Johannson, Lenny Kaye, Max Weinberg,
Danny Federici and others.

Now he's an anchor of one of the best Beatles tribute bands in the country,
LIVERPOOL, which will perform two shows at the Fair Lawn Community Center on
Saturday, January 24. Performances are scheduled for 4pm and 8pm. Tickets
cost $25 and can be purchased at these locations:
*	online at www.liverpool.eventbrite.com
*	The Fair Lawn Community Center, at 10-10 20th Street in Fair Lawn
*	The Office of Corporate and Cultural Planning in the Municipal
Building (2nd Floor),
*	Goodman’s Hardware in the CVS Shopping Center on Fair Lawn Avenue.
Liverpool has performed hundreds of concerts nationally and abroad, wowing
audiences to standing ovations with their detailed and precise renditions of
the music of The Beatles.

Acclaimed as the “house band” for the internationally renowned “Fest For
Beatles Fans” (formerly “Beatlefest”) in New York, Chicago and Las Vegas,
Liverpool’s direction sets them apart from the multitudes of “look alike”
Beatles tribute shows. The group’s primary focus has always been its
unprecedented accuracy in recreating the actual recordings, from that
unmistakable "fab" sound from early in their career through the
"experimental" and orchestral endeavors of the later years. And, they do all
this as a four-piece unit, playing all the parts, no matter what instrument
is called for!

About Glen Burtnik

In addition to writing, recording and touring as part of Styx, Burtnik for a
period was in the west coast cast of Beatlemania, playing Paul McCartney.
(As part of Liverpool he also takes the Paul role, playing a classic
left-handed Hofner bass.) During his tenure in Beatlemania, he forged a
lasting friendship with Marshall Crenshaw, who played the role of John
Lennon. Glen and Marshall recorded a single, "I Hate Disco Music," as The
Sides. This friendship has endured through the years, with the two still
work together whenever time allows.

While appearing in Beatlemania, Burtnik answered an ad in the Village Voice
and was hired by Jan Hammer to be the singer for his band, Hammer. They
recorded an album and toured to support it. Through his involvement with
Hammer, Glen also formed a friendship with Neal Schon, later of Santana and
Journey. The song, "No More Lies," was a collaboration written by Burtnik,
Schon, and Hammer.

Fellow Jersey guy Jon Bon Jovi once asked Burtnik to join his famous band,
but the two have remained good friends throughout the years, appearing
together from time to time.

In Fair Lawn, Burtnik, along with Liverpool founding members Drew Hill and
Chris Camilleri, plus ace NY session guitarist John Merjave, will leave no
stone unturned to make the music sound as accurate as possible!
