DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Ira Marks was appointed Deputy Director/Coordinator of Fair Lawn Emergency Management on November 24, 1999.  Deputy Director Marks has resided in the Borough of Fair Lawn for twenty five years. Ira has been a member of the Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps for over twenty one years, serving two years as president. Ira has also been an active member of the Fair Lawn Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC), serving two years as president. Deputy Director Marks has been a member of Emergency Management for seven years serving as shelter coordinator prior to his promotion. Ira is currently working towards his Certified emergency Manager (CEM) credentials from the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM).
