The Borough of Fair Lawn Office of Emergency Management is collecting unpublished telephone numbers from its residents for the Telephone Alerting System. 

The system will allow the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) to provide very specific emergency information via the telephone to local residents.  As an example, if flooding is expected along the Passaic River, we will be able to notify residents in the Passaic River flood zone only or if an emergency effects the entire borough, we can contact all of the residents.

Residents with non-published telephone numbers should contact the Office of Emergency Management to have their name, address and telephone number added to the contact database.  You can call 201-794-5343 and leave your name, address and telephone number or register below.  If you do not have a standard telephone in your home, we will accept one cellular phone number per household.
