Mayor Weinstein will be offering evening hours for residents who wish to meet with him regarding an
issue or concern. Visits are by appointment only, and will be available on Tuesday evenings between
the hours of 5:30 and 7:00 pm. Residents who wish to meet with Mayor Weinstein should call his office
at 201-794-5344 to schedule an appointment. E-mail to the Mayor's Office may be directed to:

Meeting Minutes:
The minutes from previous Council
meetings is now online. They are posted as they become available after approval by the Council. If you
need any minutes that are not online, please see the Municipal Clerk.
Election Information:
Those wishing to register to vote may do so by visiting the Municipal Clerk's
Office in Room 209 in Borough Hall or call 201-794-5340 for more information.
Elections for Borough officials are held on election day in November of each odd numbered year.
Government Type:
Fair Lawn operates under a Council - Manager (Plan E of the Faulkner Act) form of Government. All policy making power
is concentrated in the council. The mayor is a member of council, and simply presides over its meetings with no separate
policy making power. The manager, appointed by council and fully accountable to it, is the municipal chief executive and
administrative official.
