Purchasing Department

 

The Purchasing Department's major function is compiling bid specifications, administering formal bids, and review of all Borough purchase orders.

Bids & RFP Announcements
Specifications for BIDS and RFP's may be obtained from the Purchasing Department, 8-01 Fair Lawn Avenue, Room 110, during regular business hours, 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM (holidays excluded).

BIDS may be hand delivered to the Municipal Clerk prior to the specified time, or hand delivered to the Municipal Clerk at the specified time (not later) and be presented in sealed envelopes, plainly marked with the bidder’s name and the item thereof.

RFP's may be hand delivered to the Borough Manager's Office prior to the specified time, or hand delivered at the Borough Manager's Office at the specified time (not later) and be presented in sealed envelopes, plainly marked with the bidder’s name and the item thereof.

The Borough will not assume any responsibility for BIDS mailed in. Mailed BIDS must be by “CERTIFIED MAIL”.

BIDS are required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.

The Borough of Fair Lawn reserves the right to reject any and all BIDS or to waive any informality therein if such action were deemed in the best interest of the Borough.
