February 24-26, 2017
Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm

This provocative work, by playwright Peter Shaffer, weaves this confrontation between mediocrity and genius into a tale of breathtaking dramatic power. In the court of the Austrian Emperor Josef, Antonio Salieri is the established composer. Enter the greatest musical genius of all time: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Salieri has given himself to God so that he might realize his sole ambition to be a great composer. Mozart is a foul-mouthed, graceless oaf who has that which is beyond Salieri's envious grasp: Genius.  For further information and ticket sales call 973-OLT-4420 or visit www.oldlibrarytheatre.net.

March 10-12, 2017
Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm
Sunday matinee at 2 pm
Created by playwright Michael Frayn, "Noises Off " is a love letter and an inside joke to those of us familiar with the thrilling and unpredictable nature of the stage. What is 'Noise Off' about? "Noises Off " is a play within a play. It is about an ambitious director and his troupe of mediocre actors. The cast and crew are putting together a silly sex comedy titled, "Nothing On" - a single-set farce in which lovers frolic, doors slam, clothes are tossed away, and embarrassing hi-jinks ensue.  For further information and ticket sales call 973-OLT-4420 or visit www.oldlibrarytheatre.net.

Sunday matinee at 2 pm
Pulitzer Prize-winning and Tony Award® for Best Play winner Doubt: A Parable, written by John Patrick Shanley. A gripping story of suspicion cast on a priest’s behavior that is less about scandal than about fascinatingly nuanced questions of moral certainty.
