Fair Lawn Alliance for
Substance Abuse Prevention
Welcome
The Fair Lawn Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention,
FLASAP, is a coalition of concerned parents, community members, educators,
public health officials, law enforcement officials, elected officials and
students who are concerned about substance abuse in Fair Lawn.
FLASAP focuses its efforts towards the prevention of substance abuse by
developing and supporting prevention programs.
FLASAP is funded through a grant from the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism
and Drug Abuse. FLASAP in turn funds programs in the community such as
Project Graduation, DARE, High School Peer Mediation Training, and Drug and
Alcohol Free
Dances for free dances for teenagers. Other programs that focus on the goal
of reducing substance abuse are evaluated for possible implementation within
the Community.
Meeting minutes
are available online.
